Today, Sunday 8th June was spent in the beautiful surroundings of Pittencrieff Park, as part of the fantastic Tour of the Kingdom cycling event, run by Dunfermline Cycling Club.. did you know that they are one of Scotland’s oldest cycling clubs!!!

We were stationed at the finish line, serving up some very well-earned food to nearly 200 cyclists who had taken on one of two seriously impressive routes – a 59 mile ride or a monster 91 mile route with a 4,695 ft elevation gain… Absolutely incredible efforts all round!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather – the sun was shining and the post-ride atmosphere was spot on, with everyone able to sit out, refuel, and relax after a big day on the bike… of course a trip to The Glen is never complete without a visit from one (or lots!) of the beautiful Peacocks in Pittencrieff Park!!

A wee extra shoutout to our friends at The Nibble Nook who popped by for a visit – so lovely to see you both and thank you so much for the support!
A huge thank you to DCC for having us along, and well done to every single cyclist who took part – we’re still in awe
